TOPAZ Single Crystal Neutron Diffraction Workshop 2015

June 16-17, 2015
Oak Ridge, Tennessee, USA

Single Crystal Diffractometer (TOPAZ)

About the Workshop

The workshop will introduce the high-resolution single crystal neutron diffractometer, TOPAZ, to members of single crystal diffraction community. The aim of the TOPAZ workshop is to show participants:

  1. the potential benefits of neutron time-of-flight Laue single crystal diffraction for their research;
  2. the proposal process;
  3. procedures for data collection and analysis;
  4. refinement of neutron single crystal structure using Shelx2014, JANA2006 and GSAS programs.

The workshop will bring together experienced users, software developers and novices to share and learn. It will give experienced users the opportunity to present and share their results with all workshop participants. Expert software developers will highlight recent developments in the analysis of neutron single crystal structures measured on TOPAZ and at other facilities.

The workshop will be held at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, at the Spallation Neutron Source, in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, USA, on June 16-17, 2015.

Registration ends May 8th
